JNN Foundation helps Kenya orphans

The Joseph N. Nyabiosi Foundation (JNN) was founded by Lyneth Nyabiosi Evans, his daughter. The motivation for its inception, its reason for existence, is to follow the example of Christ by caring for “the fatherless and widows in their affliction” (James 1:27). This was Joseph Nyabiosi’s lifelong mission shared with his wife and children.  And now to carry the torch, the JNN Foundation has been established.

The JNN Family seeks to be an instrument of mass achievement by representing and addressing the needs of the poor and the needy, with a primary focus on education and human development.  JNN does not specialize in building buildings but building up people who can.  JNN is synonymous with empowerment.

JNN Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Delaware.

Our Core Values

  • Christ Centered – We believe in honoring Christ in all that we do. God alone transforms lives. As we rescue children and women in-crisis, we accept the responsibility by depending totally on God.
  • Action Oriented – We do our part as we respond with sacrificial love to the world’s suffering.
  • Child Focused – We believe children should have the opportunity to mature and develop their full potential. We care for the whole child by providing quality programs that meet their spiritual, educational, social, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Women Focused – We work closely with self help groups, to empower women and attempt to develop a culturally relevant and caring community, with the hope of providing spiritual growth and financial independence.
  • Family Centered – We believe in nurturing the power of the family by assisting existing families with a healthy and safe environment.
  • Committed to Excellence – We intend to be known for our determined pursuit of quality, the integrity of our relationships, the clarity of our communication, and our accountability with the human and financial resources entrusted to us.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Acknowledgement — We thank God for the opportunity to make a difference.
  • Mission for Christ — Thanks for being obedient and faithful servants.
  • It’s Not About You — The difference you are making means the world to the children.
  • Little by Little — You can’t change the world, but you can make a world of difference.
  • Jump Right In — Get involved! If not now, then when? If not you, then who?
  • Serve, Don’t Help — When we serve, we receive great blessings.
  • Be Flexible/Creative — You have all the skills you need to be effective and productive.
  • You Are Responsible — We are all responsible for the welfare of others.

Focus Countries

JNN Foundation’s vision is to enable orphaned and deprived children in different countries to meet their basic needs and to increase their ability to participate and benefit society. JNN Foundation financially supports an orphanage in Tanzania, India and Haiti, as well as three schools and one orphanage in Kenya. When you sponsor a JNN Foundation project, you’re helping transform an entire village, and the lives of future generations. Please donate and join us in improving and building lives across poor countries.
