Thank you for your interest in the JNN Foundation.

It’s hard to imagine a life of living in a mud hut with no water or sanitation facilities, little food, no lights, and little clothing. Many children in Africa face exactly that, and have the added burden of the loss of one or both parents. Some children at the age of six are already the primary caretakers of their family. In many cases there simply isn’t enough food to go around, and the fees for school are out of the realm of possibility.

According to UNAIDS 2011 global epidemic reports, in sub-Saharan Africa, an estimated 22 million people are living with HIV. In this region, the adult rate of HIV infection is six times higher than it is in the rest of the world. What’s more, around 60 percent of those living with HIV are women. In part because of cultural limitations on female rights, more African women are infected than men.

A TV Interview with Our Founder

JNN’s Founder, Lyneth Nyabiosi, and members of the JNN Family were recently interviewed on a Delaware TV station, The Upper Room. Watch parts 1 and 2 below:

The Mission of the JNN Foundation (JNN) is to provide the means needed to care for orphans, abandoned and disadvantaged children, and poor women by supplying the necessities of life such as food and shelter, and an education in order to be able to meet their daily needs and improve their standard of living.  The education of women in basic health care improves the health of their children, their families and their communities.  Teaching women how to budget, save money and pay back loans over time is part of our micro financing project that enables women to start and operate a small business that will empower them with independence and financial security.

JNN’s mission has been enhanced by partnering with local leaders, institutions, and citizens for the purpose of building self-sustaining projects that finance schools, healthcare centers, orphanages and women’s self-help groups. This initiative has made a significant and positive impact and has improved the quality of life within many communities.

JNN’s Vision is to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children and poor women not only in Africa but in other parts of the world as well.  Already JNN is supporting orphanages in Tanzania, India and Haiti.  JNN wants to increase their sponsorship of orphans so that they may complete their educations all the way through colleges in Kenya.  JNN wants to create more women’s self-help groups in addition to the ones in Bamburi in Mombasa, Umoja area in Nairobi, and Keroka in Kisii.

JNN’s appeal is that you pray for us and those we serve, and if possible, that you support us financially.  Working together we can accomplish great things and change the world, one person at a time.

For just $35 a month, you can provide lifesaving aid to mothers and babies living in poverty. Please support the work the JNN Foundation is doing to change the lives of poor mothers and homeless orphans by giving them a place to live, food to eat, and schools to attend, so ultimately they can establish a small business of their own, thus facilitating their financial independence.

My fervent hope is that by working together we’ll create an instrument for mass achievement that will impact lives for the greater good by creating opportunities for our sisters and brothers to have a chance to become productive future leaders.

May God bless you abundantly.
