How can you support the Appeal?

Here’s a real opportunity to make a difference–to impact and change lives. A “small” investment of your time and money can change a life forever. JNN Foundation depends on the help of individuals, communities, and corporate partners to fulfill our mission and our vision. We offer various ways to get involved; by joining the donation clubs below you can change lives, destinies and nations…

Zebra Club

The Zebra club is designed to help women through programs that will improve their ability to support their families, e.g., micro-finance, health, and business education fairs. Women in Africa hold many, many dreams and most never see those dreams come to life.  Your donations to this club will help advance gender equality and women’s empowerment through a variety of projects.  Empowerment and education for girls and women promotes the ability of these women to influence community change through their actions.

Giraffe Club

Education is a fundamental right that people in many countries take for granted.  All people have a vision for their future and your giving to this club will assist not only in changing the life of the person receiving the education, but also in the entire family’s hopes by what that one person brings home.  It has been proven that education is a critical tool in development in general by raising economic productivity, improving health and lowering infant and maternal mortality rates. Donations to the Giraffe club will benefit education projects, e.g., books, computers, uniforms, tuition, desks, and beds.

Lion Club

Represents donations for capital projects such as building funds, missionary trips, equipment and renovations. If you have read about the JNN Foundation you already know the inspiration was Joseph Nyabiosi Nyakundi.  He embarked on a path that led to extraordinary things.  He built schools and fostered many visions to life.  He became active in politics with hopes of influencing change.  He was a leader in his time.  Donations to this club will take visions from his time and bring them to life today making hopes into realities.  Land has been donated in Kisii, Kenya for the orphanage there and it is calling for buildings to be raised on this new found land.  Other building projects will also be aided by giving to the Lion’s club.  Mr. Joseph Nyabiosi Nyakundi’s symbol was a Lion.  Honor his legacy and bring visions to life today by donations to this club.

Buffalo Club

Donations to this club go toward the water projects the foundation supports.  Water is essential for sustaining human life, livestock, industries, and community growth. The continent in general cannot effectively utilize its resources. The people in many parts of Africa lack the technical knowledge and financial resources needed to access their water supplies. Donations to this club can help dreams of having clean water for drinking, growing crops, adequate sanitation and improving health in general begin to come true by aiding well drilling, water tanks, water filtration, and piping.
