David Bolton, PhD, M.A.

David BoltonDr. Bolton has his PhD in Research and Testing from Florida State University and his master’s degree in Research and Statistical Methodology from Andrews University. Prior to graduate school, David spent six years in Germany, where he graduated from Carl-Friedrich-von-Siemensschule, a German gymnasium in Berlin, and the theological seminary, Seminar Marienhoehe, in Darmstadt, Germany. Kennedy Nyairo, PhD, MBA

Kennedy NyairoDr. Nyairo is a Technology and IP Operations Manager, at IPVALUE Management Inc., where he’s responsible for technology and financial analysis of intellectual property (IP) assets.  He leads several projects related to optical data storage, telecommunications, eCommerce, and optoelectronics market segments. He also mines technology/IP portfolios for commercially valuable assets and develops licensing deal proposals. (Read More)

Clive Ondari, PhD, MBA

Clive OndariClive Ondari has over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical policies and programs, having worked for the Government of Kenya and the World Health Organization on various assignments. He holds a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master of Science in Business Administration. He started his career in academia and regulatory affairs in Kenya where he was Associate Professor and Head of Dept. at the University of Nairobi, College of Pharmacy and Chairman of the Pharmacy Board for over 10 years. Marty Freitag, R.N, LNC, BA/BM, MDiv.

Marty FreitagMarty has been a nurse for 40 years with a few different specialty fields.  Her love in the nursing field is psychiatry and she has worked for Sheppard Pratt Health Systems for 13 years.  She also is a retired military nurse having served in the Air Force for 20 years.  Marty took a sabbatical from the routine everyday life in the United States after retirement from the Military and spent two and a half years serving as a missionary in Tanzania, East Africa where she taught nursing subjects as well as English and worked with the students in evangelism and choir. (Read More)

Hellen Nyabiosi

Helen NyabiosiHellen Nyaboke Nyabiosi is the wife of the late Mr. Joseph Nyabiosi Nyakundi (JNN), after being married to him for 45 years. Together God blessed them with ten children and they were impressed to adopt five more.  While raising her big family, Mrs. Nyabiosi also worked full time at the Corporative Bank in Kisii, Kenya for 27 years.  In 1999, she retired and moved to join her children in the United States. Jeffrey M. Goldner

Jeffrey M. GoldnerJeff was born and raised in Delaware, USA.  He has been in construction and contracting for over 30 years.  Mr. Goldner has been involved with church youth and mission trip projects.  Jeff is partners in a growing solar power business in Nigeria for a few years now and has become more aware of the challenges faced by Africans.  He has a strong desire to help make change for the better. Pastor Elvis Mogoi

Pastor Elvis MogoiElvis Mogoi is a native of Kenya who was raised in a family of three siblings and loving parents, and is married to his lovely wife, Carolyne Mogoi.  He has been involved in church ministry from an early age serving as a youth leader and children’s instructor, with a focus of helping the youth and children get to know God closely and follow His ways. This ministry has involved conducting seminars and speaking engagements at youth forums and workshops. He has led several campaigns against drug abuse and creating awareness on HIV/AIDS. (Read More)

Mrs. Ayanna Harrison

Ms. Ayanna HarrisonAyanna Harrison is currently a contract employee with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Human Development from the University of Utah in 1996 and has over 16 years of public and child health experience. In 2002, she began her public health career working with the Utah Department of Health’s Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring Systems (PRAMS) program. (Read More)

Brian Nyamwange, B.S.Chem.

Brian Nyamwange Brian Mogaka Nyamwange has a special connection to this foundation in that he is the oldest grandchild of the late Joseph Nyabiosi Nyakundi (JNN).  The mission and goals of this foundation resonate well with the young scholar because they reflect the principles and values that he was raised with in the Nyabiosi home. The legacy of his late grandfather lives on in the lives of young men like Nyamwange, and it is for this reason that he has dedicated his life to service and self-sacrifice. (Read More)

Edward OdundoiDr. Edward Odundo is the Chief Executive Officer of Retirement Benefits Authority (Kenya), honoured by his Excellency the President, Hon. Mwai Kibaki, with The Moran of the Order of The Burning Spear (MBS), Former Director of the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), Director Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA), a Board member of the Insurance Training and Educational Trust and the Vice President of the International Organisation Of Pensions Supervisors (IOPS), having previously served as the Vice Chairman of the Technical Committee of IOPS. (Read More)

Josephine Omwenga-Arasa, ESQ

Vera Manduku, MD

Vera MandukuVera Manduku is a Radiologist/Research Officer with the Kenya Medical Research Institute.  She has eight years of experience in diagnostic imaging, and is a Vice Chair of the Kenya Association of Radiologists and also of the Kenya Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (KESUMB).  Areas of interest are in improved, accessible, cost effective Diagnostic Services, through interdisciplinary partnerships in Kenya and the region and also enhancement of quality health Care in Kenya and the world, through research and establishment of quality standards in Imaging. Betty BonassDr. Betty Bonass is a Consultant Radiologist currently working at the Kenyatta National Hospital since 2002. She also carries out part time practice at the Nairobi Hospital and Nairobi Women’s Hospital. Betty is currently pursuing technique comfort in image guided- biopsy procedures and MRI.
